The artist states: “Especially during George Floyd, I wanted to create something that felt patriotic and empowering to my cultural identity - triggering childhood memories of iconography, sounds and visuals.” It’s a pool of references, like being granted a look into Pinkerton's private workstation — or onto Jamaica's complex cultural heritage, as seen by the artist.
